Rector Maksym Tymoshenko visited the Agostino Steffani Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto — one of the leading institutions of higher artistic education in Italy, with which the Academy maintains close partnership relations. It is particularly significant that the Italian colleagues demonstrate sincere respect for Ukraine — notably, the official website of the Conservatory is available not only in Italian and English, but also in Ukrainian.
According to the results of the global International Higher Education Board Index (IHBI-2025), Ukraine ranked 30th overall, confirming the high level of managerial practices in higher education institutions.
The UNTAM received a congratulatory letter from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, on the occasion of the 162nd anniversary of the Academy’s founding.
In his message, Ruslan Oleksiyovych expressed his deep respect for the staff of one of the oldest and most prestigious higher music institutions in Ukraine, which for more than a century and a half has been shaping the nation’s cultural elite and nurturing generations of outstanding musicians, educators, composers, and conductors.
The labor collective of the UNTAM has been awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – “For Merits to the Ukrainian People.”
This award is a testament to the high recognition of the Academy’s many years of work and its significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture, education, and art.

The UNTAM confidently maintains its leading position among institutions of higher arts education in Ukraine. In the latest edition of the global Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics), the Academy secured the first place among Ukrainian higher education institutions specializing in the arts.
On July 4, 2025, the XXX Session of the General Assembly of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine took place—an important event in the cultural life of the country that traditionally brings together leading artists, scholars, and educators.
Today, the UNTAM was visited by its distinguished alumnus — Ukrainian composer, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Rector of the R. M. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, Professor Oleksandr Zlotnyk.
On May, 23, president of the UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko, received a high state distinction — an Honorary Certificate from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
During his working visit to Italy, president of the UNTAM, Maksym Tymoshenko, met with Francesco Coronia, the owner of the Ciribelli company.
The president of UNTAM expressed his gratitude to his longtime friend for his comprehensive support of Ukraine during the war and for his unwavering solidarity.
At the end of the warm meeting, Maksym Tymoshenko presented Francesco with a Commemorative Medal of the UNTAM.
