ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE

The International Relations Office of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Music Academy coordinates the establishment of successful and productive international exchange of knowledge and experience, concludes partnerships and organises projects. The department also enables academic mobility for students and faculty of the Academy.

INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC MOBILITY BETWEEN THE PARTNER INSTITUTIONS

The Academy’s network of international partnership has diverse number of participants and continues to expand actively. Academic mobility is carried out in accordance with the “Regulations on the Procedure for Exercising the Right to Academic Mobility” (Resolution of the CMU No. 579 of August 12, 2015) and separately concluded agreements with partner institutions.

CREDIT MOBILITY

During credit mobility, studying process is carried out by an applicant in a partner university to obtain credits of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System and / or relevant competencies, learning results (without obtaining ECTAS credits), which will be recognized at the Academy.
The selection of program participants, the list of requirements, documents and conditions of mobility are determined separately in accordance with the concluded agreements and other regulations.

ERASMUS+ PROGRAM

FOR APPLICANTS

UNTAM is also a participant of the ERASMUS+ program. This provides an opportunity for its applicants to gain experience of studying abroad, expand their horizons, circle of acquaintances.
Full-time students who have successfully completed the first year of bachelor’s and / or master’s studies, in addition, must also meet certain criteria, such as:

  • have GPA score of at least 90, and no academic debts during the previous academic year
  • have participated in national and international competitions, cultural projects, master classes, etc.
  • have a sufficient level of foreign language proficiency (determined according to the requirements of the host institution)
  • The applicant must submit the following documents in Ukrainian and English to the Academic Mobility Coordinator by the deadline (see guidelines and samples on the page “Accessory Materials and Regulations”): [Додати сторінку «Accessory Materials and Regulations» на сайт та прикріпити посилання на неї]

  • resume / CV;
  • photocopy of the first page of the foreign passport;
  • for bachelors – Transcript of Records: an extract with grades and credits for each subject, certified by the Dean’s Office;
  • for masters – a scanned copy of the bachelor’s diploma with a diploma supplement;
  • certificate confirming the knowledge of a foreign language not lower than the level specified in the agreement between the Academy and the host institution;
  • Motivation Letter;
  • Recommendation Letter from the main specialty tutor;
  • video recordings of works (according to the requirements of the host institution).
  • Full information on the application procedure and the peculiarities of the ERASMUS + educational program, in parallel with the continuation of study at the Academy are prescribed in the “Regulations on the procedure for exercising the right to international academic mobility”.
    For the period of study at the host institution, the applicant retains their place of study and scholarship payment at the Academy.
