At the invitation of the UNESCO leadership and the Permanent Representation of Ukraine to UNESCO, meetings were held with the president of the UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko and UNESCO Artist for Peace Herman Makarenko with Deputy General Director for Culture Mr. Ernesto Ottone Ramirez and Deputy General Director for Education Ms. Stefania Gianini and the UNITWIN team.

Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music regained its membership in the The European Association of Conservatoires (AEC) which includes leading educational institutions of all EU countries, as well as China, Israel, Qatar, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, and the USA, etc.

Jamie Peipon (US), a graduate of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, who studied in the class of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Alexander Blinov at the Department of Brass and Percussion Instruments visited the conservatory.

The Day of Knowledge was celebrated at the Academy of Music on the 1st of September.
The solemn ceremony traditionally took place at the main entrance to the Opera Studio of UNTAM.
The president of UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko gave a speech and the audience greeted his warm words with a standing ovation.
