15 prominent Kyivites received awards from the Kyiv City Council. The title “Honorary Citizen of the City of Kyiv” was awarded to the Ambassador of Peace, president of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, corresponding member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Maksym Tymoshenko.
As part of the event for the 214th anniversary of the May Revolution in Argentina and the 78th anniversary of the proclamation of the Italian Republic, “Musical Meetings: Ukraine-Argentina-Italy” on the main stage of the UNTAM the president of the UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko presented the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Ukraine Pier Francesco Zazo and the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine Elena Leticia Teresa Mikusinski the highest honors of the Academy – the Order of the UNTAM for supporting the UNTAM and for the significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture.
On May 21, 2024, a video conference was held with the Chinese figures of culture and science as part of the international project of Ukraine and China “I am with you” in support of peace with the participation of the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, president of the UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko, president of the “Yunchang Lady” company Zhao Yongchang, president of the Hebei International Academy of Music and Arts named after P. Tchaikovsky Jan Hepin, Chinese students and post-graduate students of the UNTAM.
Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music for the second year in a row leads the rating of art institutions of higher education which is presented by the Institute of Sociological Research of the Kyiv National University of Economics named after Vadym Hetman and the Active Group research company.
On the initiative of the Office of the President of Ukraine, as part of the Ukraine’s Peace formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, an international Zoom conference was held with the participation of two Honorary Professors of the UNTAM – the general director of the Metropolitan Opera, Peter Gelb, and the president of the Yunchanlady company, Zhao Yunchang.
On May 2, 2024, the president of the UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko took part in a meeting of representatives of Ukrainian culture with the head of the President’s office Andriy Yermak within the framework of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Ukraine Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Peace Summit.
On April 25, 2024, under the patronage of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ukraine-UNESCO: 70 Years Together” was held in the Media Center of the Ukrainian State University of Applied Sciences.
On January 29, in the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, the opening of the exhibition “Vine, Cante y Venci” took place.
A concert dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music was held at the University of Music (Freiburg) (Hochschule für Musik Freiburg).
