Maksym Tymoshenko Tops the Ranking of Rectors of State Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine According to IHBI-2025

According to the results of the global International Higher Education Board Index (IHBI-2025), Ukraine ranked 30th overall, confirming the high level of managerial practices in higher education institutions.
A significant achievement for the national academic community was the inclusion of 38 rectors of Ukrainian higher education institutions in the list of the world’s top 1,000 university leaders. This highlights the competitiveness of Ukraine’s higher education system and its strong integration into the global educational landscape.
It is particularly gratifying to note that Maksym Tymoshenko, Rector of UNTAM (Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music), topped the ranking of rectors of state higher education institutions of Ukraine according to IHBI-2025 and placed 503rd in the global ranking.
International recognition of the Rector of UNTAM confirms the effectiveness of the Academy’s development strategy, its stable authority within the global artistic and educational community, and the consistent efforts of the academic staff to preserve and advance national musical traditions.
UNTAM continues to be one of Ukraine’s leading institutions of higher arts education, proudly representing the country in global rankings and international educational initiatives.
