Meeting of the leadership of the UNTAM at the residence of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China

The president of the UNTAM, Maksym Tymoshenko, and representatives of the Academy’s administration, at the invitation of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine, Ma Shengkun, visited his residence. The Academy representatives were the first guests of the Residence in 2025. Maksym Tymoshenko presented to the Ambassador the initiatives implemented with Chinese partners and details of the ongoing cooperation including the Ukraine-China institution – the International Academy of Music and Arts named after P.I. Tchaikovsky where the first graduates will soon receive their diplomas. A sample diploma was shown to the Ambassador. During the meeting, a plan to strengthen relations with China as a strategic partner of Ukraine was outlined. To date, China has been Ukraine’s main trading partner for many years. Ambassador Ma Shengkun highly appreciated the Academy’s international work and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in the fields of culture and education between the two countries. Among the representatives of the Academy were V. Bondarchuk, M. Mymryk, A. Skoryk, T. Andrushchenko, S. Shevchenko, H. Makarenko, and B. Rumyantsev.
The Chinese Embassy was represented by Counselor to the Ambassador Wang Zhengguang, Education Representative Zhang Zhenghuo and Consul Zhang Senyao.
