The first visit of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Ma Shengkun to the UNTAM

Today, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine, Ma Shengkun, made his first visit to the Ukrainian art university – the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music. The president of the UNTAM Maksym Tymoshenko welcomed the honored guest. In turn, Mr. Shengkun extended warm greetings to the faculty and students of the Academy. He paid special attention to the Chinese students at the Academy, who continue their studies despite the ongoing war in the country.

During the meeting, the delegation, headed by the Ambassador of China to Ukraine, honored the memory of fallen Heroes at the Academy’s memorial plaque. The visit also included discussions on educational processes in the context of Ukrainian-Chinese relations, strengthening the ties between the two countries. The Ambassador Ma Shengkun emphasized that China and Ukraine are strategic partners and these relations will continue to deepen.
