Finale of the International Art Project “Art Unites Ukraine” / Art United. Ukraine – China – USA
Today marked the third and final day of the International Art Project “Art Unites Ukraine” / Art United. Ukraine – China – USA at the National Music Academy of Ukraine.
This day was especially significant for the academic community, as the NMAU “Kyiv Conservatory” had the honor of welcoming the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine, Ma Shengkun. The ceremonial opening of the event was conducted by the Rector of the Academy, Maksym Tymoshenko, together with the Ambassador, highlighting the importance of cultural cooperation and international dialogue.
The visit of the distinguished guest once again underscored the importance of art as a universal language of mutual understanding between nations, as well as the role of such initiatives in strengthening international relations.
The highlight of the day was an opera performance of “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, held in the hall named after Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Slipak. The production brought together participants of the international project and became a vivid example of creative collaboration between Ukraine, China, and the United States.
The performance featured invited soloist Xu Na (USA), students of Ukrainian conservatories, soloists of the NMAU Opera Studio, as well as the Academy’s symphony orchestra, choir, and ballet. The performers demonstrated a high level of professionalism, offering the audience an emotionally rich and inspiring evening.
The “Art Unites Ukraine” project continues its mission of building cultural bridges, supporting young artists, and strengthening international connections through the power of music.
