Visit of Cesare Pollini Conservatory Rector Elio Orio

On April 14, 2025, the UNTAM welcomed distinguished guests: Rector of the Cesare Pollini Conservatory (Padua, Italy) Elio Orio, and Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Kyiv, Carlo Colonnella.

During the meeting, president of the UNTAM, Maksym Tymoshenko, gave the guests a tour of the institution, showing them the Academy’s Opera Studio. Near the memorial stand dedicated to fallen faculty members and alumni, the attendees honored the memory of the deceased.

Throughout the visit, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation, including joint cultural events and projects.

At the end of the meeting, the esteemed guests attended a concert by the Creative Workshop of People’s Artist of Ukraine and Professor of the Bandura Department, Liudmyla Larikova. On behalf of the entire institution, Maksym Tymoshenko congratulated the artist on her birthday with warm wishes.

From the stage of the Oleh Tymoshenko Hall, he expressed his gratitude to Rector Elio Orio for his visit, for Italy’s support of the Kyiv Conservatory, and presented him with the UNTAM’s Order.
